Double Reason to Celebrate for Prominent Perth Agency

LJ Hooker Southern Residential has marked its 20 years in business with a total transformation of its headquarters in South Lakes, as Australia’s most iconic real estate brand continues to expand its West Australian network.

Principal Victor Paz, who joined the LJ Hooker network back in 2003, said their newly redesigned office space will allow for further growth as they look to employ more agents and increase market share, including doubling their current rent roll.

“We feel very excited for the next chapter of the business and by redesigning our headquarters we can make it happen by accommodating more people and better utilising the space,” Mr Paz said.

“LJ Hooker is a brand that people recognise and trust and for us as a business, it has been very good as it provides a lot of stability and opportunity for growth. And while we have been around for a long time, we continue evolving and growing our markets.”

General Manager of Network, Stephen Mutton congratulated Mr Paz and the team from LJ Hooker Southern Residential on reaching a significant business milestone.

“It is a testament to Victor’s character that he continues to invest back into the business and his staff,” Mr Mutton said.

“We are very fortunate to have Victor as part of the LJ Hooker Group – he has made outstanding contributions to both his local community and also to our network.”

Mr Paz opened LJ Hooker Willetton in 2003 and quickly expanded his business taking over the ownership and operation of five local real estate agencies and establishing his office as a leader in property investment management.

He later went on to open offices in Shelley and Cockburn and later established LJ Hooker Southern Residential.

LJ Hooker Southern Residential Head of Operations, Kristy Clymo said they had been able to reconfigure the layout by removing oversized workstations and replacing these ergonomically friendly standing and sitting desks. The team utilise their new training room every Friday and in addition, there are now multiple client meeting rooms.

“We’ve had quite a few comments that it is modern but still warm and not too ‘corporate’ – so our interior designer chose well,” Ms Clymo said.

“The staff are loving being able to come to such a fresh and modern space – they especially enjoy the new break room and training facilities. It has enhanced collaboration in the office and our culture as we can all hear, see each other and share ideas.”
